Leading accountancy service provider, Simply Contracting, have launched a new group on the social networking for business site Linkedin.
The group is called "Contractors Forum" and is being described as a space for contractors to discuss the current issues that are important to them.
Linkedin operates the world's largest professional network on the internet and has more than 120 million members in over 200 countries and territories. In the UK there are over 6 million members. The site was started in 2002 and was founded by Reid Hoffman in his living room in the US.

Simply Contracting Ltd is a member of the West Cumbrian based NRL Group and is a provider of accountancy services to Limited company contractors, small companies and sole traders.

I have been involved in self employed contract working for more than 20 years for many different companies in various parts of the world. In this time I have been self employed, limited company, SC 60, and 714 certificated. With all of these ‘systems’ I have had many issues with the problems of invoices, payment, and the very time consuming process of accounting for my wages, tax payments, VAT , expenses etc. Over the years it has caused me a great deal of concern, time and worry that I did not need, especially when I was working away from home.
